A young man had to support himself since he was 14 and became an amateur boxer. Unfortunately, he died in the ring at the age of 15. What kind of kammic retribution caused this?

This made he think of his father who liked to collect the Buddha images, gambled cock-fight and watched Thai-boxing because his dad was a boxer. What retributions caused his father to be sick and went in and out of the hospital for 5 years?
